		<description>Who would you want to have this control you speak of?  Do you think there is something in between racism and complete colorblindness?  What do we lose by not recognizing color (shades of skin, of the sky, of traffic lights)?</description>

		<description>I agree with you that many of the traditions and aspects of Jonas&#039; culture would be ideal for us. I don&#039;t even think that it necessarily relies solely on total control, but I think that stability is what we strive for. It&#039;s like the saying that &quot;Communism is perfect... on paper.&quot; The book presents us with a lot of ideals, but not ones that would mesh well with our current society. I agree that we need some change, I&#039;m just not sure if Lowry&#039;s ideals would ever be accepted.</description>
